The interior design has a luxurious feel accented with upholstered chairs dipped in a vivid blue coating (one of the owners did
explain what the chairs were dipped in, but I was too intrigued by the rest of the interior to pay attention). The wall backing the bar area is stocked with an elaborate collection of different alcohols, from liqueurs all to way to various types of gin.Why start this blog you ask? This is where it gets interesting! When presented with menus, Steve Da Cruz, who works behind the bar presented us with an intricate menu of cocktails, which he deemed "the longest cocktail menu in the world!" (something that I will have to research to prove or disprove). The cocktail list began by educating the unknowing reader about all the different cocktail terms and distinguishing factors. A newbie to the art of cocktails would be confused from the get-go; I have had my share of cocktails and drinks and was still in a state of awe as I casually flipped the pages. Da Cruz suggested for us just to leave the picking to him, and he concocted drinks that suited our tastes perfectly.
This is where an outrageous idea popped into my head. Why not try every single drink in this "longest cocktail list in the world". But wait, this job is practically unattainable by a single person alone. This is the spark that led to the creation of this blog.
Our goal: to finish this extensive cocktail list. Of course I'll be the one to start us off.
